LineShadow

About the product
LineShadow is my own digital product: from the idea and visual language to a working web app and landing page. I built it myself, with the help of Codex and Claude.
The app breaks a raster image down into layers of perpendicular lines. After UV printing, each layer “responds” to its own light direction, and the picture changes as the lighting or viewing angle changes.
What it does
- From raster to depth
Black-and-white image → perpendicular lines → depth across several layers.
- Production-ready
Export to TIF, PDF and EPS, CMYK, up to 9,600 dpi, sizes up to 10,000 mm.
- For partners
A branded version for print shops and UV printing manufacturers: a pilot, testing on their equipment, first clients.
- Stack
Static frontend, Node.js API and PostgreSQL. The site and the app are live online.
